[rcalandri] 		When I landed there in 2001 the ground staff dashed to the plane and said you are not allowed to land here. OK, then we are going to leave. No, therefore you need a permission from the transport ministry in Athens. But nothing has been mentioned in the notams.
In 2009 they came to the plane and said we do not have space for parking your aircraft overnight. So things are improving. And again nothing has been mentioned in the notams.
So it might be an excellent idea to check for a parking lot with THESSALONIKI AERO-CLUB. Details on there website.

They did not charge a landing fee (Olympic Airways) but a handling fee at 85,09 (!) with one night parking with a single.

By the way: This is one of the few airports of entry and with avgas.

[mooneyfan] 		Waren mit der Mooney knapp 14 Tage in Thessaloniki. In Dubrovnik preiswert
getankt und über Albanien in 1:35 nach Thessaloniki. Abfertigung mit Goldair Handling für €80.- vollkommen problemlos.Lande und Abstellgebühren
für 13 Tage unglaubliche €23!!! Rückflug ohne zu tanken bis Pula - dann mit wieder preiswertem Benzin nach Deutschland.
