	22.09.06	Uwe Lutz [uweclutz]	In spite of friendly and helpful german ATC / Hamburg tower crews not each and every pilot is prepared or willing to use international airports like Hamburg with approach procedures, busy traffic and costly landing, parking, handling and departure fees. Not only for those pilots the Stade airfield will provide basic or extended support at low cost, simple and basich VFR approach and departure procedures as shown on AIP / Bottlang – VFR Charts. The parking capacity at the Stade airfield is sufficient. On exceptional basis there might be some hangar space available short-term. Basic support on secured parking, flightplan filing and ATC contact will be offered. Early information/service request would help to manage our limited capacities on facilities and services. In cooperation with the Stade Tourismus GmbH, Rental Car and Taxi Companies the Stade airfield crew offers support on hotel, rental car, taxi or train information and bookings. Stade downtown and the famous historic center in 5 km or 10 Minutes destination with Hotels, Bars, Bistros, Shopping Mile, Sightseeing (guided). Railway distance to Hamburg Downtown 55 Minutes. On Summer ( March - Oktober ) weekends ( Sat 13.00 - 18.00 / Sun 10.00 - 18.00 ) just call frequency 123.000 Mhz. - the Tower is on duty. All other times Stade airfield is a PPR airfield, but if you call the PPR telephone number ( +49 (0)4142 2717 / +49 (0)171 5480669 (germ./engl.) or see AIP / Bottlang ) someone will show up to support landing/stay at the Stade airfield.
