	22.09.14	Henrik Knoblauch [henrik_k]	Extremly friendly and helpful airfield staff. Short Transfer by taxi to Coburg citry (about 10€). Good Restaurant at airport. GPS Approach available. If you would like to depart IFR on a sunny day, it is recommended to inform the airfield Crew in advance. So they can coordinate the departure with the glider Club. Displaced treshold (photos below are not current anymore) My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category: Fuelstop City access Romantic getaway
	30.05.10	Alexander Bubenik [profaxel]	Nice and neat airfield, staff friendly and helpful. A bus stop is adjacent to the treshold of runway 12. Line Nr. 5 runs either to the Coburg fortress (Veste Coburg) or downtown. A walk to the ancient city centre will take approx. 20 minutes, to the fortress 10 minutes. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category: City access Romantic getaway
	30.08.05	Luis Canosa [canosalu]	Freundliche BFL -und Flugleiter , die nach Wunsch auch außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten da sind. Die Vereinskneipe ist außer Montag´s ab 12 Uhr offen- bis 21 Uhr. Die Landegebühren sind zwischen 5,50€ für UL bis 15€ für eine BE 33 1400kg Es gibt eine Wetterstation am Platz . Die ist sowohl über Funk als auch per Tel abrufbar ist. Tel.: 09561 790560 Atis 120.10 Die Internet-Seite lautet www.edqc.de Nach der Landung kann man entweder sich ein Taxi bestellen lassen,( kann man auch per Funk bestellen) oder man läuft ca. 7 min bis zur Veste. Von dort fährt entweder ein Stadtbus ( 1,50€)pro Person, oder man nehme die Bimmelbahn.(2,50€) pro Person. Es gibt viel zu sehen im Coburg. Von der Veste Coburg bis zum Puppenmuseum. Auch schöne Lokale und der Rosengarten verzaubern den Flug nach Coburg. My grade: Fair enough - it's a flat place to crash Category:
