A walk to the village is approximately 4,5 km on stone-flagged foot-walk, slightly more along the beach. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! 	10.06.08	Alexander Bubenik [profaxel]	Airport personnel are very friendly and helpful and so are the ground staffs of FLN FRISA (a local airline operating BN 2Bs). We had to stay overnight at Juist unplanned (due to severe weather on our home course). Both helped us to get hotel accommodation and ground transport (which is provided by two-horse carriages - 8 € a single trip). Weather briefing is available on request at the “C” - Office (on top of the tower building). My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation!
