ATC is provided by Austro Control. Arrived VFR and departed IFR without great fuss - I would not hesitate to come back. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! 	19.09.16	Hanspeter Brunner [hpblr]	Great scenery to fly from Echo to the airport. Tower was helpful and friendly as as the service on ground. We got a lot of small extras (5l fuel, lower parking fee as we have been there for the first time, ice cream after arrival as it was hot). So overall, we really did not make the bad experience others obviously did. In any case, Sylt is really beautiful, worthwhile to give it a try. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! 	14.06.15	Thomas Di Angelo [eddm]	Refueling recommended after Landing. More weight in the tanks = less likely to be blown away. Average surface wind was 14 kts. Bring your own rigging, lashmaterial and ropes. Ropes can be borrowed for 10 EUR deposit/ea. Not all parking spaces have sling hooks for tie down. Parking for light aircraft on concrete with tail over gras. Taxi to Westerland City or SIXT Car Rental 13 EUR. Category:
	01.10.13	Claudius Wagner [beselcla]	Absolut lowest service level. The quality of the apron and runway's are below standard. Like an old abandoned sowjet airport. "C"-Office man was friendly, in opposite to absolut unfriendly ATC. But no service. I had to ask 3 times for help with the fuel station. And I had to pay 43€ for 1h parking and to pax. My grade: It's a ripoff but I have seen worse Category:
	21.05.09	Pat Wie [wiebepat]	Lowest service level available for GA aircrafts. For a 1100 kg single engine, 3 passengers and 1 night parking you have to pay nearly 50 Euros. But their is no service for this. But Sylt is beautiful and there is no other option. Refueling: If their is a plane from AirBerlin, Lufthansa,... expect waiting times up to 1,5 hours. Only with AirBP card you can refuel your plane in this time. Tip: Go to EDXJ, 35 NM SE and MOgas available. My grade: It's a ripoff but I have seen worse Category: Beach/Nature/Camping

It is a log footwalk from Apron to C, with no Shuttle service, however for a landing and approach fee of 23.20 € incl. VAT for a E-Class aircraft I would have expected such service.
