Airport Authority was taking care about small aircraft and placed a truck from the airport fire department in front of each plane as windshield. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! 	12.06.09	Rainer Calandri [rcalandri]	Uncomplicated airport. But expect a departure slot with some minutes delay if you depart in the rush hour and season, because they do not have a full taxiway. The approach might be turbulent in strong wind conditions. The airport is called Rijeka but this city is about 50 taxi-Euros away from the airport. In Rijeka I recommend the nice Hotel Jadran with a seaside room. Better look for a hotel on the island Krk. Landing 55 Euro for a single but you save a lot on fuel 1,18 Euro, about 50% less than in other EU countries. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category: Fuelstop
