The airport contacts for PPR (not needed unless parking overnight i.e. anything more than a day's visit) are:
FAX +302296023601
EMAIL mgrtl@otenet.gr
TELEPHONE +302296027330.
When you see you don't get an answer in your email or Fax within 2~3 days, simply give them a quick phone call to check on the PPR approval's status. Even from abroad a cost of a couple euro's phonecall will save you lots of hassle with emails and faxes for confirmation etc. PPR approvals for overnight parking take 2 to 3 days to get approved. The CAA officers at the airport speak ample English and you can easily sort things out with a quick phone call.

Just to correct/add some data from previous comments.
Airport is not AFIS but ATC with Control Tower and a 3nm radius ATZ up to 2000 ft. Do not enter the ATZ unless cleared to.
Taxi to Athens is less than an hour.
Train to north side of Athens (Marousi) is less than an hour.
For day stay, refuel only etc. no PPR is needed.
For PPR (for evernight parking only) if they do not respond by email (at mgrtl@otenet.gr ) send a FAX to +302296023601 with your reply-to FAX number, this ensures that they will respond.
When runway 08R is in use (less frequent direction) aircraft cross from F to north parallel rwy to taxi to the west to hold at A for engine run up.
When runway 26L is in use (most frequent direction) departures hold at taxiway E holding point for engine run up and arrivals come in to apron from north parallel runway to taxiway G and then cross runway for F and E.
When taxying from runway towards east side of apron on E do not confuse the -before last- right turn yellow line as E taxiway, its a link for parking spots. Turn south to the last right turn and continue east for the Fuel/CAA.
Always check LGMG NOTAMs. Any info. including operation hours, fuel etc. is published there.
There are frequent parachute drops (CIV & MIL) in the drop zone just north abeam the CIV apron. For this reason it is compulsory at LGMG to always request ENGINE START from TWR.
During drops:
- departure (engine start) calls are requested to standby until drop is complete.
- arrivals MAY be required to hold outside the ATZ for 5~max.20 minutes.
Parachute drop days and times are always NOTAMed.
After leaving the ATZ or before arriving you will be in contact with Athens TMA Information (FIS service) on 124.025

IFR Flights to/from Megara.
For IFR departures you can file IFR (I code) even though there is no SID from Megara - no need for Z code (VFR->IFR) - and it will pass Eurocontrol. Use a first fix that is in Athens TMA (ATV, VELOP, SOREV, KEA, KOR, KEPIR, RIMAX, XORKI etc.) so that the FPL is sent also to Athens Approach where you pick up your IFR from.
IFR clearance is passed to you from Athens Approach via LGMG TWR and you are cleared initially 3000ft. VFR VMC to EGN NDB south of LGMG. Do not include EGN in your filed FPL.
Once LGMG transfers you to Athens TMA info. on 124.025 they in turn clear you to climb to IFR level and ask you to contact Athens Approach (132.97 or 128.95) who identify you and then you are IFR.
For IFR arrivals you can also file I FPL (no need for Y code) even though there is no STAR for Megara. Athens Approach instructs you to proceed towards EGN NDB and asks you when ready to cancel IFR when approaching EGN NDB.
DO NOT enter EGN NDB in the IFR FPL, Eurocontrol will not validate the IFR FPL.

Need PNR. Very easy by mail or phone. VFR only. Airport is shared with military helicopters. Trafic is quite high for this kind of airport and publish a VAC should be a good idea. To avoid such "taxi to E..." from AFIS dedicated only for local pilots who knows where E is... I presume.
But VERY friendly airport like GA like. No Handling No Tax (on Bob Marley tune)

Prior permission required (fax usually). Call to confirm. Aerodrome parking nearly full with GA. You MAY additionally need to contact some local Service Centre or local Aeroclub to get help with temporary parking in a hangar or outside.

Ask prior permission from Airport Authority on fax +30 22960 23601, if you request to remain overnight.
Call TAXI on 6946 11555 or 6944 567733 and ask him to drive you to the train station .From there, there is a nice train to Athens center.Takes 1 hour and departs every 2 hours.
