A lot of traffic in the pattern and in the area (mainly Italian speaking!). Very friendly and efficient airport staff. I would recommend staying at Neo hotel which is literally across the street from the airfield, it is very nice and inexpensive (at least when I went there, 70€ for an amazing room). Milano center is accessible via Bus (83 to Comasina) then Yellow metro to "Duomo" for about 3€. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category: Fuelstop City access Romantic getaway

Coordinate arrival with Aero Club Milano (Secretariat tel. +39-02-6101625 - fax +39-02-66505959, e-mail: info@aeroclubmilano.it) Operating Hours: MON-SUN: 08:30LT - SS SIXT Rental car station only 3.5 km distance from GAT (special agreement with AOPA Italy: refer to "Aeroclub Milano"). Prices for a FIAT 500 (cinquecento) for 3 days, plus full cover insurance appr. 107 EUR, offering unlimited mileage. Pick-up and delivery in Bresso must be negotiated in advance. Otherwise ask for taxi at the office to get you there: SIXT Italy - Sesto San Giovanni VIA LIBERO BIAGI, 55 / C16 20099 - Sesto S.
