	03.06.19	Henrik Knoblauch [henrik_k]	An excellent alternative airport for LKCS. Be aware that radio communication may a bit tricky, most of the time there is only one guy with the handheld at the airport. Both runways are "blocked" by glider at the treshholds. "Long" landings will work. Be advised that the airport and the staff is only onsite at the weekend. Other times requires PPR. Best to contact them via e-mail. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category: City access
	10.09.18	Henrik Knoblauch [henrik_k]	A very nice airfield in the vicinity of Budweis city. A good alternate to LKCS. Staff is very friendly. It´s a small but busy airfield. Taxi to Budweis is about 15-20€ (450kcs), you need to call them by phone (+420 800 141516). Radio service is a little bit difficult, because most of the guys over there don´t speak English. The tower is usually unmanned, there is only a guy with a handheld radio somewhere running over the field. There is also a restaurant at the airfield which was crowded by non-flying czech people. In the direct vicinity you will find a excellent 5-star Hotel with a nice wellness area and good food, or you can spend a night at the Hluboká castle (and the attached hotel). AVGAS is available.
