Car rental possible through Hertz in Kitzbuhel. We could leave the key in the tower upon departure. Restaurant at the air field. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category:
	08.02.11	Frank Naumann [naf]	Limited wing tip clearance and parking space in winter season due to large deposits of snow - call in and inquire in advance! Taxiways are kind of bumpy but runway is in good condition (tarmac). Friendly people there, briefing room with internet and Austro Control Selfbriefing access free of charge. Airfield offers convenient access to famous Kitzbühel (5 nm south of AD). My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category: Fuelstop City access Romantic getaway Beach/Nature/Camping

	04.09.06	Alexander Bubenik [profaxel]	Very friendly airfield staff provided helpful assistance e.g. filing, opening and closing flight plans. A personal computer including a self-briefing terminal and Internet access is readily available (no extra charge). The village of St. Johann is at close range (a 12 - 15 minutes scenic walk along a smallish river [Fieberbrunner Ache]). The city centre exhibits some very ravishingly baroque buildings. A cable car connection runs between St. Johann and “Harschbichl” which is directly located below the peak of the “Kitzebühler Horn”. A pretty place featuring a traditional inn (Berggasthof – I have not the slightest idea how to translate that). My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category: Beach/Nature/Camping
