[profaxel] 		Nice little airfield with helpful staff. Distance to Schärding is approx. 8,5 km. If you love hiking - it's a 1,5 h walk along the river Inn. A taxi drive takes 15 minutes. Schärding itself is a well worth seeing little town in Oberösterreich - very close to the german border. The history of Schärding has a strong relationship to the dynasty of the Wittelsbacher, which reflects perfectly in the town's architecture.
 My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation!    Category:   City access    Romantic getaway
