According to new Notam you cannot avoid to land at one of the 3 international airports when you enter Portugal, even within Schengen). Arrange your handler in advance to avoid waiting, check wesite of AOPA Portugal! Category:

	16.07.16	Michael Noel [michaelnoel]	Use Jetbase as handler. Very helpful! Go with you via security, to taxi, pick you up when you want to enter the airport, etc. No AVGAS It is no general aviation airport. Parked just in front of the main apron. No GAT. I knew the price before, so I'm not complaining ;-) My grade: It's a ripoff but I have seen worse Category: City access
	15.04.13	Beat Münch [cenobit]	You need a handling agent!! I can recommend Omni-Handling (ex. Groundforce one). They are friendly, responsive and competent. Contact them ahead of your arrival!! They arrange also for the required slots. Finally you get an semi-transparent invoice including landing- and parking fees - and it is not going to be cheap! Ex.: PA46, 1 LDG, 3 nights, all inclusive: EUR 406.08!! My grade: It's a ripoff but I have seen worse Category: City access
	05.02.13	Cheyenne Max [n191ma]	Not a good GA airport. Handling mandatory even though not specified in the AIP. No GAC. You have to go through the terminal and passenger security. They don't make a difference between private and airline flights in the security check. Endless discussions about items in crew + pax baggage for private flights, even though friendly handling agent tried to help. Stay away. My grade: It's a ripoff but I have seen worse Category: City access
	04.03.12	Pete Williams [petew]	Despite carefully reading the AIP entry to confirm that handling was only mandatory for commercial aircraft, I found on landing that they would not let me leave my aircraft to go to the terminal without paying handling. And I could not take-off again without first paying a fee, which I could not do without paying 150euro for handling! Tantamount to blackmail. However, we managed an agreement with Groundforce, who were friendly and helpful. You also need a Slot time, but that was easily done. My grade: It's a ripoff but I have seen worse Category: City access
