	07.02.11	Frank Naumann [naf]	Airfield is one part of a bigger sports centre operated by Austrian sports club "Sportunion", facilities include tennis, squash and volleyball courts, soccer playgrounds, gym, hotel rooms, sauna, restaurant and of course a flight school. Picturesque scenery amidst the Alps, really worth a visit. You can rent bikes, go hiking or skiing depending on the season. Runway is 730 m tarmac,in good condition, AVGAS and MOGAS available, landing fees are to be paid at the hotel reception desk. Members of the "Sportunion" get a 20% discount. Computer terminal with Austrocontrol Selfbriefing access available in the hotel lobby. On weekdays you should pay attention to the nearby military control zone Aigen (LOXA) 5 nm northeast of the airfield (usually inactive on weekends). Train station is 200 m, bus stop is 400 m away within easy walking distance. My grade: Excellent airport for General Aviation! Category: Fuelstop Romantic getaway Beach/Nature/Camping
